Golden PD Honors Its Finest at Annual Awards Ceremony

The Golden Police Department will honor its finest at the 11^th Annual Awards Banquet next Wednesday, February 12^th, at 5:30 pm at the Golden Community Center, 1470 10^th Street.

 

Chief Bill Kilpatrick will present several awards to officers and department employees recognizing their dedication, professionalism, leadership and other duty related acts.  Officers will be recognized for performing life saving CPR on a man who suffered a heart attack while working out at a fitness center.  Another officer and a Police Chaplain will be recognized for putting extra time and effort into reuniting a homeless man with his family in Nebraska.

 

The final award announcing the Employee of the Year will conclude the ceremony.

 

A list of the awardees’ names and titles will be released at the ceremony.
