Golden Looking for Food Vendors for June Bike Event

 

 

Golden, Colo. ­— April 1, 2013 — City of Golden is looking for food vendors interested in participating in the overall finish festivities for Ride the Rockies bike event on Friday, June 13. The event will draw 2,000 cyclists as well as support staff, fans and family of the riders. Vendors should be prepared to serve food between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

 

Due to the nature of the event and dietary needs of the riders, there are specific food requirements for vendors. Golden will select a combination of vendors who can provide meals that are high in complex carbohydrates and low in fat; and those that offer traditional festival foods and snacks such as burgers and BBQ. Vegetarian and gluten free options are also highly desired.
