Help Colorado Community Media salute our veterans

Colorado Community Media wants to share the stories of local veterans in a special Veterans Day section that will publish Nov. 12.

Servicemen and women — and family members of those who served — are encouraged to submit a history of their or their loved one’s military service. Information may be emailed to: newsdesk@coloradocommunitymedia.com.

Submissions should include the following details:

The veteran’s full name

The veteran’s city or town of residence

Branch of service

Dates of service

Military rank

Medals and commendations

A quote about the why the individual served or the most meaningful aspects of his or her service

Photo attachments are welcome and should be in a jpeg format of at least 100KB but not more than 5MB.

Please include contact details for the person submitting information. This information will be kept private and is for editorial purposes only.
