These Works of Art Put a Positive Spin on Negatives. Amazing.

If there’s anyone better than British artist Nick Gentry at making a positive out of a negative, they probably work in public relations. By using cut-up film negatives as his canvas, Gentry adds a unique touch to his portraits that give his subjects even more depth. If you look closely at the portraits, you’ll see scenes from various times and places. Just as when you look at the face of a person, you’ll find metaphorical stories that they themselves might not even know are there. Aside from being creative, these works are also beautiful. It’s so nice to see something so new and pleasing.

Gentry also uses floppy disks for his portraits, and they’re really cool. Would you expect anything less?
