Loves of Hope Run/Walk on June 7

Lutheran Medical Center Foundation and the Cancer Centers of Colorado at Lutheran will host the eighth annual Leaves of Hope Run/Walk and Cancer Survivors Celebration and Health and Safety Expo from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 7.

Events include a survivor’s breakfast, 5k/10k Run/Walk, Free Kids’ Dash, 1 mile Family Fun Walk, music by Chris Daniels and the Kings, and exhibition booths.

The event will be at Lutheran Medical Center, 8300 W. 38th Ave, The running and walking courses wind through the scenic Lutheran campus and through the tree-lined residential streets of Wheat Ridge. The Leaves of Hope Run/Walk will be the kick-off event for the annual Cancer Survivors Celebration, which is a long-standing tradition that brings back cancer survivors to celebrate the gift of life with their families, friends and the staff who cared for them.

Funds provide vital support for needs such as genetic counseling, survivorship and patient comfort.
