Ding-a-ling! Joe Biden has his own big effin’ hotline

http://twitter.com/#!/JoeBiden/status/256818546389184513

Oh, this is just too perfect. Joe Biden sent a tweet this afternoon encouraging his followers to call his Super Special Hotline and let him know how they felt about his debate performance. He couldn’t possibly have thought conservatives would ignore such a golden opportunity, could he?

Another POTUS good idea? “@joebiden: Now it’s your turn to talk—call 312.985.6433 and leave a message to let Joe know how you thought he did

For a good time, call @joebiden 312-985-6433.

— Mark Scudder (@mark_scudder) October 12, 2012

That would only be fitting.

Callers should expect some interruptions:

Spoiler Alert: Joe will laugh at you before you finish talking. MT @joebiden Call 312.985.6433 to let Joe know how he did in last night.

— Michael Egan (@eganmike) October 12, 2012

I keep getting interrupted! RT@joebiden call 312.985.6433 and leave a message to let Joe know how you thought he did in last night’s debate.

— Robby Tiro (@robbytiro) October 12, 2012

@joebiden I called the Let-Joe-Know-How-He-Did ph line but I couldn’t leave a msg – IT KEPT INTERRUPTIN & CUTTIN ME OFF!! @paulryanvp #Tcot

— Teri K (@TKPISCES) October 12, 2012

@joebiden @jonahnro Of course you will be interrupted 82 times during the call…but it does come with its own laugh track.

— Glenn Scarlett (@GlennScarlett) October 12, 2012

Remember: your call is very important to Uncle Joe, but he may not always be available to pick up. He’s very busy:

Don’t bother. I’m busy watching Dora. MT @joebiden: Call 312.985.6433 & leave a message to let Joe know how he did in last night’s debate.

— Honest Biden (@HonestBiden) October 12, 2012

So don’t be surprised if you get an automated message. Blogger Steve Gutowski has put together a sample of what you might hear:

@joebiden Joe won’t like the message I left.

— R.A. Everett (@IdleRumors) October 12, 2012

@joebiden no 800#? Not worth my dime

— Lori Hoeksema (@lorihoeksema) October 12, 2012

Nope, no 800-number here. In fact, 312 is a Chicago area code. Just a coincidence, surely.

This has to be a trap. RT @joebiden: Call 312.985.6433 and leave a message to let Joe know how you thought he did in last night’s debate.

— Aaron (@Arevill) October 12, 2012

It very well may be. Team Obama is well aware that citizens are on to their emailaddressmining campaign, so they need to try another strategy:

OFA wants your phone # RT @joebiden: Call 312.985.6433 and leave a message to let Joe know how you thought he did in last night’s debate.

— Charlie Spiering (@charliespiering) October 12, 2012

What Joe doesn’t realize is that conservatives have already got his number. We’ve had it for some time.

Hey @joebiden, I left a message for ya! Be sure you listen real close. #RomneyRyan2012
