Delaware Gov. Markell apologizes for tweet with ‘inappropriate photo’
An inappropriate photo was inadvertantly sent out earlier. We are looking into how this occurred but apologize to anyone who was offended.

Delaware Gov. Jack Markell and/or his staffers had to hit the “delete” button today, and somebody probably had some explaining to do.
Here’s the tweet that was sent out from the account of Gov. Markell, a Democrat, via Politwoops:
That’s definitely not the governor.
The explanation?
Markell spokesman says photo link was mistakenly altered, linking to racy photo. "We just wish the accidental link had been a cat video."
