"Cowboys Day Off" Bronze Recreated

“Cowboys Day Off” Monument was introduced to Golden by owners at Spirits in the Wind Gallery in 2000.

The story begins when Dennis and Pam Eggemeyer, owners of the gallery visited Jackson Hole, they met sculptor, Michael Hamby. He was creating “Cowboys’ Day Off” in clay at a local gallery. It was breathtaking! This bronze was meant to be a monument in Golden. After introducing the bronze, the Golden Civic Foundation along with partners decided to place the monument in front of the Golden Hotel.

The western bronze became an icon of Golden which turned into a theme.

Spirits in the Wind Gallery helped the artist sell the bronze 45 edition 27″ x 15.5 x 11 until it sold out…

The gallery is announcing a new 12AP edition in color patina in the same size – available in 4 months. Order Now and select the # edition you prefer. This color patina is unique from any sculpture Michael Hamby has created!!
