City to Broadcast Candidates Forum

The City of Golden is broadcasting the Leadership Golden Alumni Association’s candidates forum, sponsored by the Golden Transcript and Golden Good Government League. The candidates running for office in Golden’s Mayoral and District 1 and District 2 council races have been invited to answer questions submitted by citizens and written by LGAA.

 

Golden City Council approved that the forum be cablecast live at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10 on Comcast Cable Channel 8 in Golden. The public is also invited to attend in person in the Council Chambers at Golden City Hall, 911 10th St.

 

The forum will be rebroadcast on Cable Channel 8 at the following times through Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6:

 

8 a.m. Mondays;

 

7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesdays;

 

12 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesdays;

 

7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursdays;

 

10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Fridays;

 

12 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturdays; and

 

1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sundays.

 

It will be available for online video streaming at www.cityofgolden.net/channel8 beginning on Monday, Oct. 22.
