BOLO for Person Involved in Car Fire in Golden

At approximately 3:45 p.m. Golden Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call about a car on fire in the parking lot of Kohl’s, 16700 W. Colfax Ave. in Golden. According to witnesses, there were two people inside a vehicle that was moving through the parking lot when a flash fire happened inside the vehicle.

The car left the scene. The male who was initially driving the car was located by police near the Conoco at Morrison Road and C-470. The male was injured and transported to an area hospital. Police are on the lookout for the female occupant and the car, described as a 2012 Dodge Journey with a bright pink front fender.

As of now, this is only an investigation and no charges are pending.
